I was at Bovi's Sat. night when you ran Sound for the Band ARRIVAL., Or should I say, Orchestrated it; and what a Beautiful Symphony it was. I just wanted to let you know that you did a hell of a job! You're very Professional. I like the fact that you paid close attention not only to the board, but to the individual Musician. You seemed to capture just the right sound for each player, in my opinion. I mean, that is definetly, how each instrument should sound.

After
Hearing Bob Sloane mix Planet Groove at The Call (01-02-03)
I've been to dozens of clubs and concert halls throughout
the U.S. and the quality of sound that Bob Sloane achieved
at The Call in Providence, RI topped them all. I was extremely
impressed with the richness and depth of the audio. The
musicianship of the band was free to shine. There were actually
dynamics as opposed to hit-you-over-the-head loudness that
so many live bands end up with. And the clarity of the low-end
was amazing. I stood next to the speaker stacks at one point
and could actually hear the individual notes of the bass
player and the thump of the kick drum without it being a
bassy mud.

When you retain the services of Studio Live Recording you are going to walk away with alot more than just a disk. You are also getting a friend who will take the time to walk you through things step by step....I had people coming to shows for almost ten years telling me I sounded great live. but then I would go to a studio and found it almost impossible to recreate that sound...for years I thought I was doomed to never really have a true representation of my music on disk. I wanted something with the power and punch of a live show but the quality of a sweet studio....finally after all these years I found Bobby Sloane and SLR...I am more pleased with the quality of my latest project than I ever thought possible...If you want to sound like a pro...you gotta work with a pro.
